If this is the first time you are going to teach days of the week, this cute teaching material will surely make your students enjoy the lesson. You may start your lesson by playing warm up song. There are lot of songs for kids or nursery rhymes on YouTube. I suggest the "Days of the week song by super simple songs" since my students enjoyed it. Try to make an action in each day to make it easier for the students to memorize or remember the days of the week.
Show the days of the week wheel. Ask your students to read the days of the week in the wheel. After that, discuss them the time concepts (Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow).
After discussing the time concepts you can group your students into three. Appoint the first group to read the "Yesterday was _________", "Today is ________" for the second group and " Tomorrow will be _____" for the third group. Spin the wheel and let your students do their tasks. You can also do it individually. Let your students spin the wheel and for a twist you can ask your students about the things that they have done yesterday, the things that they are currently doing (today) and the things that they are planning to do tomorrow.
