TWO LETTER CONSONANT BLENDS - CARDS

A consonant blend is a combination of consonants that are placed together without being separated by a vowel. The most common consonant blends are combinations of two or three consonants together at the beginning or end of a word. Furthermore the letters in a consonant blend work together to make one sound, but all the individual letters can be heard within the pronunciation. Sometimes, a consonant blend may contain a silent letter or a double letter.

ABOUT THE TWO LETTER CONSONANT BLEND CARDS
I made two sets of cards. The first set of cards are combinations of two letter consonants. The second set of cards are words ad pictures with two letter consonants (bl,cl,fl,br,cr,fr,gl,sl,dr,pr,tr).

-To learn two letter consonants
-To learn words with two letter consonants
-To learn two letter consonant blends

HOW TO PREPARE
Download the two letter consonant blend cards or print them directly from your computer. Cut the cards accordingly. Laminate or paste them on card stock for durability. You could laminate the cards back to back or individually. Store them in a ring or basket.
This material is best for child learning consonant blends.
