DIVISION FLOWER WHEELS

FACTS 1- 12

SAMPLE FLOWER WHEELS ARE BELOW

A young child needs to practice Math concepts over and over until they are well-memorized. These division flower wheels could be a great help for your child to practice division facts from 1-12.

ABOUT THE FLOWER WHEELS

I have made a set of division flower wheels - facts 1-12. You could use these flower wheels to practice division or you may want to use these as classroom decor to add life and color to your classroom. For classroom decor, place the flower wheels on the wall or put them in a vase or pot.

PREPARATION
Download the division flower wheels or print them directly from your computer. Cut the division flower wheels accordingly. Laminate or paste them on card stock for durability. Attach the two flowers (the one with division symbol should be on the top) with stick in between them (the stick will serve as the stem of the plant). Attach the leaf on the stick. Now that you have the division flower wheels, all you have to do is to find a place to store them.
This material is best for your student learning basic division.

In these subtraction cards/flashcards, students can explore the concepts they learned that are related to subtracting two-digit numbers by approaching each decimal place subtraction individually without needing to " borrow a one" from proceeding decimal places. In simple terms, no subtractions on these require students to perform more difficult mathematics calculations because the numbers being subtracted are less than the ones they are subtracting from in both the first and second decimal places.

These subtraction cards/flashcards help students through the process of subtracting 2-digit numbers from one another, which requires regrouping if the number being subtracted requires the student to "borrow a one" from a larger decimal point. The concept of borrowing a one in simple subtraction comes from the process of subtracting each number in a 2-digit number from the one directly above in when laid out.
